Service Menus? Whose Menu is it?
With such an incredible response to our previous articles on Service Menus
and the hundreds of requests for more information, how could we resist?

Service Menus, as previously mentioned, are without a doubt the single greatest element your Service Operation has for marketing. Remember though, avoid getting too carried away.

Too much information jammed into the menu will only confuse the customer, and take focus away from the ?heart? of your message. Many of the "chemical providers" ? flush companies, etc. will assist in the cost of creating the menus for you. There?s a catch to this though, in that many will dictate that you have to incorporate their marketing materials into the menu.

The confusing element here is that customers don?t know the difference between one chemical supplier and another, and frankly they don?t care.

Rental car companies, towing companies and a whole list of other vendors will also assist in the cost of preparing the menu, all with a catch. At the very least their logo needs to be incorporated into YOUR Menu.

The bottom line is that this is your menu in an effort to promote doing business with you!

Look at your menu and ask yourself if it is promoting you and your business or Rental Car A, Flush Company B and/or Towing Company C?

Realistically, all of your vendors just want you to use their products and services. You can still use them, even if they aren't listed in your menu.
