The State of Florida may not be great at counting votes, but when it comes to successfully launching Mazda’s Professional Selling Skills for service, they simple stand out. Another example comes from Cory Fairbanks Mazda in Orlando, the "Worlds Largest" Mazda Retailer.
But rather than tell the story, we decided instead to provide you with exerpts from a letter sent by John Blackman, Parts and Service Director for Cory Fairbanks:
Dear Mr. Whittaker,
After using the MPSS Inspection system for the first day, I was going to e-mail you with one word: Incredible! But after coming back in on Monday, I decided that one word won’t do. How about: Unbelievable, Awesome and Unheard of. Here are some examples of the (weekend) results: Normal Saturday = 50 repair orders with 20 oil changes.
First Saturday using MPSS Inspection = 51 repair orders with 17 upsells to full services. 4 oil changes produced add on repair work. Sold 11 batteries.
Now that’s an increase! And one of our Service Consultants (who typically averages $150.00 per week in bonuses) earned $350.00 in bonuses in his first three days. He has doubled his results every day so far.If you have anyone who doesn’t think this process will work in the real world, tell them to call me! I can assure you that I live and work in the real world, and this process works better than you have described it. Thanks for all your help.
